Web Business – 12

Using links was the main focus of learning and discussion this week. We learned about having specific plans, and to have a strategy for usingĀ getting other sites to link back to our own sites. I liked how we had to review questions in creating our strategy: who and when, what and how, and where will the links be gathered. For the final question, I did not realize some of the resources available to acquire links. I would not have necessarily considered linking with competitors, but that could work out nicely.

We also learned more about Google Analytics, and the reporting that is available with it being connected with AdWords. I feel like there is more information than I currently know what to do with, or how I could potentially effect some of those numbers. It will be interesting to see how those percentages change with a longer period of data collection.
